Inclusive & SEN-Friendly Learning at The Glamour Garage Academy

At The Glamour Garage Academy, we believe everyone deserves the chance to shine.

Our training environment is designed to be inclusive, supportive and confidence-building — whether you’re a visual learner, neurodivergent, or simply learn best with hands-on guidance.

We work closely with local schools, colleges and training providers to deliver engaging, accessible sessions that inspire every student to discover their creative potential.

 

 How we adapt our training to meet individual needs:

• We have multiple tutors on site for every class so every student receives one-to-one guidance and hands-on support.
• Our tutors use a mix of visual demonstrations, step-by-step breakdowns and practical repetition to build confidence.
• We provide clear written guides and visual prompts for those who benefit from structure and routine.
• We create calm, encouraging spaces — allowing breaks, quiet time, or slower pacing when needed.
• We focus on positive reinforcement, celebrating every achievement (big or small).
• We work closely with schools, support staff and parents/guardians to understand each learner’s unique requirements before training begins.

 

Recently, we welcomed 13 students from Sutton District Training for a Level 1 Salon Taster Session at our Cheam Salon.

Our head trainers, Traci Witherington and Shelly, are also expanding their knowledge in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) through a Level 2 accredited SEND Certificated course ensuring we continue to provide the very best support to every learner who walks through our doors.
